In a day and age with fledgling marketing companies, Jim has life experience with tried and true methods of increasing patient volume in hospitals and physician offices. His experience is what makes the difference. He knows what works not just from reading books about marketing but by actually implementing medical marketing campaigns and tracking their results. While Jim utilizes traditional marketing methods he also leverages progressive techniques like social media.
Creativity. Jim has an infectious creativity with the knowledge about what works in the healthcare industry. He has a knack for understanding complex medical terminology and transforming it into creative medical advertising that typical patients as well as polished executives can understand. Whether it’s robotic prostate surgery or myocardial infarction, Jim paints a portrait of what medical jargon means to the potential patients, current patients and their families. Education. Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. While university life taught Jim some fundamentals it also taught him the power of networking and entrepreneurship. About 10 years after graduating, Jim opened Banahan.Communications where his real education began through the creation of an extensive cardiac advertising campaign for the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Since then Jim has implemented medical marketing strategies all over the United States for top hospitals and healthcare systems.
