Chuck Harder has been in the graphic design industry since he graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1984. He has particular expertise in creating print and Web graphics for healthcare clients. Chuck combines a unique ability to portray technical medical information visually in an interesting and understandable way.

More than anything, Chuck enjoys using his creative talents to design new and innovative pieces. He has been particularly proud of graphics created for the Arizona Heart Institute, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Banner Baywood Heart Hospital. Chuck has worked with Banahan.Communications for over 20 years.

DeEtte Person, ABC, Communications Strategy and Project Management

DeEtte Person, ABC, has more than 20 years experience in communications strategy and planning, public involvement, special events, writing and editing, speech writing and media relations—working on behalf of healthcare, government, higher education and technology clients. Currently, DeEtte serves as editor for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association’s bi-weekly electronic newsletter, AzHHA Insider. She spent 13 years with the City of Scottsdale as its Public Affairs Manager, overseeing citizen and employee communications as well as serving as the liaison to the Mayor’s Office.

DeEtte has served as president of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Phoenix chapter, which she led to “world’s best status” in 2000. She has also been named by IABC as an accredited business communicator and as the IABC-Phoenix “Communicator of the Year.” In addition, she has earned the Government Communications Award of Excellence; is an IABC Gold Quill winner, six-time IABC Silver Quill Award winner and four-time IABC Copper Quill winner for writing, speeches, publications and community relations; and a three-time City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) Savvy Award winner for resident newsletters and marketing campaigns.

Jasmine has 10 years experience in marketing and graphic design. In her current gig as owner of 910 West, she creates strong, effective marketing programs that bring in new customers, more customers, and continuing success to her clients' businesses. 910 West provides targeted marketing, graphic, and Web site design services for anyone who doesn’t have the time, talent, or expertise to do it themselves. Before starting her firm, Jasmine worked for Texas Instruments in Tucson as a part of their in-house marketing team and Apple Computer as a computer technician. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Arizona University and is always looking for opportunities to learn something new and to expand her skills.

Josephine Morris, Web Site Development

Josephine has over 10 years experience in communications and interactive media. Currently as Sprout Strategies' owner and creative director, she pride herself in implementing creative ideas in a timely and professional manner. Josephine specializes in web development, custom software, health care web strategies, search engine optimization and interactive communication. She has spoken at several conferences including Greystone.net's annual Healthcare Internet Conference and the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) annual conference.

Josephine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree Spanish from Arizona State University. She recently earned a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies at Arizona State University-West where she focused her graduate research on technology, health care and communication. Both professionally and academically Josephine is fascinated by interpersonal communication, particularly in relation to advocacy, health care, technology, and animal rights.

Maral Habeshian, Armenian Marketing

As the former English editor of the oldest Armenian daily newspaper in the United States, Maral knows what there is to know about the various cultures and sub-cultures of Armenians—from dialects and tastes, to expectations and influences. With extensive experience at top-notch firms and in Armenian organizations, she is able to reconcile both worlds as a public relations and marketing consultant, relying heavily on her people skills, affiliations, and analysis.

After working several years as a trading and research associate at New York based Moore Capital Management hedge fund, she relocated to Los Angeles as the executive director of the largest Armenian political advocacy group, the Armenian National Committee.

In her earlier career, after receiving her BA from George Washington University, she worked on Capitol Hill as a staffer for senior US Representative Thomas Luken. She later headed the Armenian Relief Society's Armenian earthquake relief projects, and was an Armenian interpreter and translator for the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Martha Tapias Mansfield, Hispanic Marketing

Martha Tapias Mansfield is a highly accomplished leader and Hispanic market business development specialist who has remained at the center of an influential professional and community network for close to two decades. Exceptional sales and marketing skills combined with balanced strategic and tactical implementation capabilities have helped fuel Martha’s success in a series of high profile media positions.

Bilingual and bicultural, Martha has been active throughout her career with community-based organizations including direct Board-level involvement and volunteer work. Current boards include: Scholastic; Le y Veras and Maya and Miguel (new TV children’s show on PBS), and Los Angeles Police Department, Hispanic Advisory Board.

Wayne Dickmann, Video Arts Communication

Wayne Dickmann is a 1994 graduate of Northern Arizona University. He has worked as a writer, director, director of photography, and editor on countless television commercials, documentaries, dramatic shorts, feature films, and marketing/educational videos. Wayne has traveled the world shooting films across the United States, China, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His work has won numerous awards, including first place in the U.S. International Film Festival for "The Silence". In 2003, Dickmann was named Best Arizona Filmmaker by the Arizona Film Commission for his feature film, "The Sum of One". And in 2008, Wayne premiered his very own PBS series (airing in Arizona) entitled, "Arizona State of Mind". His work has aired on PBS, Discovery Health, & CNBC.
